The front panel of the TMACH (Trunk Module - Analog, Switzerland) module contains 4 LEDs (busy indicators for the circuits) and 4 blocking switches.
The trunk module TMACH is the analog interface for Hicom 300 systems and public network exchanges in Switzerland. One trunk module contains 8 trunk circuits. Each trunk connects to a two-wire subscriber line circuit on the exchange side. Each trunk circuit is equipped with its own loop signaling circuit, an analog-digital converter for voice and signaling as well as the necessary LED and blocking switch outputs. The common, digital part of the board contains the microprocessor with its program memory and the system interface. The TMACH allows any desired combination of DID (direct inward dialing) and conventional exchange lines on one board.
DID trunk circuits can be used for MFC-R2 signaling, including 'B'-signal transfer. This requires an additional SIU Type 3 (Q2031-X2) board in the LTG concerned. For DTMF dialing, an additional SIU Type 2 (Q2031-X1) board is required in the LTG.
Functional line length: max. 2 X 800 ohms line impedance (I >= 20 mA).
