The M8M (Memory Module 8 Mbyte) board is a dynamic memory. Depending on the memory configuration, the module has a capacity of 2 or 8 Mbyte (see module variants).

It is used as common memory with the multibus.

The board power supply is via the interface to the shelf.

The M8M is replaced by the MIP and IOPA or IOPAX boards. However, it will still be possible to use this board in standard cabinet configurations. For further information, please refer to the MIP board description (Board Equipment Changes in the ADS and CCAD Shelves).
