The TMBD (Trunk Module "Bundespost Deutschland") (4 circuits per module) can be used for signalling with main station interfaces (MOSIG) as well as for direct inward dialing with the pulse signalling system.

In both cases, one-way as well as bothway operation with or without 16 kHz call charge registration is possible.

The operating mode is set using circuit data. The individual circuits on the board can thus be operated in different modes.

There are three DIP-FIX switches per circuit on the board which allow setting of call data registration and line attenuation levels. The board has a separate blocking key for each circuit.

The front panel of the board contains 4 LEDs and 4 disable keys.
