The HXGM3 board prepares the functions of the HiPath HG1500 Version 3.0 for the HiPath 3750 and HiPath 3700.

• Connection of a local LAN to the HiPath 3000 and connection with external LANs over the ISDN and DSL interfaces of the HiPath 3000
• Unterstützung der klassischen Funktionen eines ISDN- und DSL-Routers mit derzusätzlichen Funktionalität eines Media-Gateways für die Übertragung von Sprache,Fax und Daten
• Support of the conventional functions of ISDN and DSL Routers with the additional functions of a media gateway for the transmission of voice, fax, and data.
• Forwarding of conversations between IP based networks (LAN, Intranet, Internet) and circuit switched networkes (ISDN, PSTN)

The HXGM3 board is compatible to the HiPath HG 1500 V2.0 board HXGM2. A mixed installation of both boards in a system is possible.
